FISTULA IN ANO

DEFINITIONS: A Fistula in ano is a Track lined by granulation tissue communicate with anal canal and skin around the anus.

TYPES OF FISTULA:

  1. Low level fistula
    Fistula open in to anal canal below Ano Rectal ring.
  2. High Level of Fistula
    Fistula open in to anal canal above ano rectal ring.
  3. Transsphincteric Fistula
  4. Inter Spincteric fistula
  5. Supralevator Fistula

    SYMPTOMS

  1. Pus discharge
  2. Pain in the Fistula
  3. Itching around anus
  4. Constipation present.
  5. Fever present.

TREATMENT - Medical Treatment

  1. Medicine (Antibiotic)
  2. Sitz bath.
